Guess What?

Tomorrow is the BIG day!

I have been talking about this day ALL YEAR LONG with my kiddos!

I have told them numerous times that HE would be coming to our little school!

The ANTICIPATION has nearly killed me!

If I were a dog, MY  TAIL  WOULD  BE  WAGGING!

I know what you are thinking?  Who?  Who is coming to your school?

He is the only person I know that can get a kindergarten teacher all in a tizzy (other than the "Hey Girl" guy).

That would be

 the one...

the only...

Jack Hartmann

Yes, you heard me right.  He's coming to our school!!!!

To do a concert!!!!

With our K and 1st Grade kiddos!!!!

Now I bet you are wondering how we pulled it off?  Well, you see, Jack and I go way back Jack is a Florida boy and we are a Florida school.  Once a year, he always has a concert at our local theater and we would always attend.  BUT...this year we decided to investigate how much it would cost to have him come to our school.  AND...since our principal oversees another local elementary school, we decided to buddy together with their K and 1st grade to see if we could make the school based concert a reality.  It seemed to have worked out.  I guess it didn't hurt that we backed the date up to his local concert (which usually has about 30-40 schools present).

So tomorrow, my little ones and I (and about 150 others) will be jamming in our cafeteria to our own personal Jack Hartmann concert!

Isn't that awesome?

Happy Blogging!

  3. I'm soooo jealous!!! My students and I LOVE Jack Hartmann! I saw him at Conference on the Young Years a few years ago and we danced and sang for literally three straight hours. It was so much fun! I hope your kiddos enjoyed the concert!

    1. Thanks, Marlana. The kids loved it! This is the first year we had him come to our school. We didn't think that we could afford it, but it actually worked out to be the about the same amount. He was awesome!

Glad to hear that you love Jack just as much!
